We recently spent a day in tranquil rural Gozo and decided to visit some of the heritage sites we had never been to before.
Here are a few photos of Ta’ Kola Windmill in Xagħra, which is situated close by to the Ġgantija Temples. It is one of the few surviving windmills on the Maltese Islands dating back to the Knights’ period. Inside, visitors can walk around the miller’s workshop and living-quarters, where a large collection of traditional tools, machines, furniture and items related to Gozitan crafts are on display.
